Bronx Community College (formerly the uptown campus of New York University) houses a 55 acre campus with 26 buildings, all of which are available for location purposes. Three buildings (Philosophy Hall, the Gould Memorial Library Rotunda and Auditorium)were designed by the late Architect, Stamford White, in the 1800s and are considered National landmarks. Building hallways, stairwells, classrooms, lecture halls, etc. may be used at times other than the regular academic school year, including Winter, spring and summer breaks. Check availability first. Faculty and staff office cannot be used for filming, nor can Academic or Administrative offices. College priorities take precedence over shooting.
Clients include: United Artists,production groups for Law and Order SVU, The Soprano's, etc. Noted films were filmed on our campus: A Beautiful Mind, The Good Shepherd, Burn After Reading, Thomas Crown Affair, The Siege, and numerous others.
